Our client is a top National FMCG company with a wonderful reputation and dynamic team. They are currently seeking a Financial Assistant to join one of their divisions in Brackenfell, reporting to the Assistant Financial Manager. This is a wonderful opportunity to grow within a well respected company.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Maintenance of Asset Registers incorporating the completion of order forms, follow-up on outstanding orders, capture of acquisitions, disposals and write-offs, monthly depreciation runs, reconciliation of asset GL accounts, year end audit schedules, comparison between physical counts and asset registers
Assist with preparation of monthly and annual financial reports
General ledger and loan account reconciliations
Data processing
Assist with ad hoc accounting and admin queries
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum qualification - B.Com or B Tech (Accounts major)
Sound understanding of accounting principles
Minimum- 1 year working experience
Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
Good computer knowledge with above average skills in MS Excel
Organised, accurate and structured
