MSF Switzerland (MSFCH) is a charity that provides emergency medical assistance to populations in need.

MSF Switzerland is looking for a doctor with surgical skills to recruit for his project in Southern Sudan: -

Location: Agok / Turalei in southern Sudan

Start: mid-February, 2012

Type of contract: 1 year (renewable)

Focus on:
Apply medical knowledge and skills required for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention (supported by a clinical examination, laboratory tests and examinations available) and the patient follow-up (clinical chronic disease> not have a chronic clinical disease), primary and secondary health care system.
The application of skills and medical rounds actively participated in the consultation on the program applicable at the hospital
If required to, prescribe treatments in accordance with the relevant guidelines and protocols for the MSF
Behavioral emergency, general and obstetric surgery, if needed
To actively engaged in medical and surgical children's and adult education and ensure that the quality of care is guaranteed.
Get relate to medical quality control and, if necessary (and can) to other health
The rules of hygiene in all medical activities
Stay informed about the patient and his family no development
Be flexible when working as an emergency or HR identifies missing occures
Ready to develop your skills in medical training, conferences, etc. to share
Assistance in data collection and / or be executed, if necessary
Requirements:
Studies of medicine at an accredited institution and registered with the Medical College
2 years experience in a busy hospital
MSF experience / INGO an added advantage
Personal qualities:
Organised, methodical and precise
Ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure.
Good team player
Motivated with a proven ability to adapt to new working methods.
The ability to live and work in a multidisciplinary, multicultural and remote.
