The work of monitoring and evaluation director Kaloleni (Coast), Kenya
The mission of the Saint-Luc Hospital in collaboration with the WOFAK DSW and has received funding from the EU to implement the three-year project to strengthen the delivery of health services for young mothers in the county of three Kilifi, Mombasa and Kwale in Coast Province.
Applicants are invited from persons who are eligible according to the position of Monitoring and Evaluation Manager.
This position will report to the Project Manager.
Location: Mission of Saint-Luc Hospital, Kaloleni, Giryama frequent trips to Mombasa
and the Kwale site.

The entire function
Monitoring and Evaluation Director, under the supervision of the Project Manager will be responsible for:
* Design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation of provision for young mothers.
* The outgoing data will provide leadership for the staff and the general guide for monitoring and evaluating the project complies with the reporting requirements of the European Union.
* Preparation of performance monitoring / M & E plan including indicators, data sources and data gaps
* Development and maintenance of databases / information systems
* To contribute effectively to national and sub-national efforts to strengthen the management of health information
* Provide support to beneficiaries and partners in the personal M & E and knowledge management, development of project monitoring and evaluation plan and support the implementation and use of routine data collection appropriate tools.
* Ensure that data is used to highlight important gaps and coordinate management programs and other programs to fill this gap.
* Conduct regular monitoring visits to project sites, including data verification and validation of data quality and assessment (DQA) using a standard list.
* Encourage the preparation of quarterly data and make presentations at appropriate forums.
* Build capacity of staff in data monitoring of projects and program staff, use the tracking data of the program / project to improve the performance of existing programs.
* Provide technical assistance in the development and implementation of an evaluation and operational research.
* To contribute regularly to the website of the organization and publications
* Represents ARFH and make presentations at professional meetings, conferences and workshops related to monitoring and evaluation, including M & E Technical Working Group (TWG) and the technical committees delegated by the Project Director
Qualification
* Bachelor's degree in social science or a master's degree in public health, epidemiology or a related field from a recognized institution.
* Minimum 4-5 years experience working on projects funded by donors as a knowledge of M & E officer / manager
* Demonstrate experience in developing and managing databases and information systems
* Strong knowledge and awareness of issues relating to access and use of information and knowledge
* Ability to relate effectively with development partners, civil society organizations and the Ministry of Health at the national and state
* Problem solving and analytical skills strong
* Good communication skills both written and oral
* High level of proficiency in the language of computers and statistical software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS and Epi-info
