Food and Beverage Manager (NEL1608BB)
Holiday Resort pretty desperate need of a Director of Food & Beverage.
The Office of success will be to plan and coordinate all requirements for the banquet menu. Must be an effective communicator and problem solver, enthusiastic, motivated, adaptable, able to delegate and to complete assigned tasks and must have a sense of responsibility. Ability to be diplomatic very important because it is the position of customer service. Must have a professional manner and appearance.
Requirements:
• Matrix / Grade 12 certificate
• Driver's license and vehicle
• hotel school qualifications would be advantageous for the tertiary
• Minimum 4 years of management experience in the hospitality industry
• Experts banquet of the environment and the management of large groups of individuals
• Knowledge of labor costs, the chef's food system is important.
• Must be computer literate and good Microsoft Office programs
• Processing of information about cooking POS System Manager
• Banquet Planning
• Menu planning effective
• Effective management of market orders and inventory control
• Quality control of prepared food - quality, presentation, portion control
• Managing the kitchen staff, restaurant and banquet - to go, list, training, etc.
• filing and administrative work related - money, accounts, budgets, inventory control and control of assets.
• Health and Safety Management
• Work closely with guests to ensure customer satisfaction
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to deal with different people in a sense, customer-oriented, friendly
• Ability to work independently but also be part of a team
• Experience in managing the kitchen and banquet staff on a large scale
• Must be willing to work flexible hours (evening) if necessary
