Senior credit Risk Analyst
Job Description:
- Provide credit risk and portfolio management support in the analysis and development of new products, business strategies and individual transactions.
- Honours degree in Commerce , Economics Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering, 2 or more years in Financial Services / Credit Risk management. Background in Retail risk management (especially credit analysis), Engineering , actuarial science or economics is beneficial, Experience with specific focus on unsecured lending , retail banking , stone credit or similar is essential, SAS/SQL skills are paramount.

- Provide credit risk and portfolio management support in the analysis and development of new products, business strategies and individual transactions.
- Working with credit scoring tools to design appropriate risk solutions for up sell , cross sell and risk based pricing.
- Productively manage the overall value from customer relationships through optimizing revenue opportunities and managing credit exposure.
- Performing in-depth analysis of credit risk tests, campaign analysis, response propensity models , collections and bad debt performance.
- Lead major initiatives to expand the scope of customer offerings and methodologies (e.g. Break-even risk tendency –based credit limit strategy refinement) of the department.
- Document findings, makes and presents recommendations, design new credit risk strategies that will outperform the past approaches and solve problems along the way.
- Monthly value business Intelligence production
- Vendor (internal and External) management, IT resource management and stakeholder management to ensure speedy implementation of programs.
- Devise and implement a range of champion challenger strategies to continually “test and learn” to reach the optimum set of tactics to generate value.
- Constantly research and investigate technology and designs to optimize delivery of the functions of credit risk-collections, originations and customer management.
- Ad hoc value business intelligence production
- TRIAD PCTMS and Blaze Advisor administrator functions (business) including
- Capturing TRIAD and Blaze strategies
- Running estimators
- Data Process flow management and query resolution
