Living with Hope Centre seeks to recruit a Site Accountant PEPFAR.

Living with Hope Centre is a local community based organizations (CBOs) working on HIV / AIDS based in Kericho.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all accounting and financial issues related to PEPFAR funds received.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the accounts payable process to oversee and guide the financial players to ensure the timely recording of receipt and payment of all invoices and accounts using QuickBooks accounting software.
* Generate reports on the budget of the actual time for the administration and Head of Department to ensure correct and updated budget monitoring / forecasting.
* Prepare and manage the funds reporting quarterly or as needed for all funds received from PEPFAR.
* In collaboration with the Administrator to develop, maintain and update the manual of environmental policy and accounting procedures.
* In collaboration with the program coordinator to assist in the annual work plan and budget development using Microsoft Excel.
* To ensure and maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with the manuals LWHC human resources.
* Perform periodic internal audits in preparation for external audit
* Perform additional tasks related to the function of accounting / finance LWHC.

Qualifications, skills and experience

* Degree - B. Com or commercial / accounting and related fields CPA Section 6.
* Expertise and experience in the accounting software QuickBooks.
* Expertise and experience using Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent knowledge of English.
* Recognized good character in the community.
* Minimum 1 year experience in the role of accounting / finance
